So it's Rosalie on Edward's leather couch, playing with her hair as she talks to Bella, then looking out and smiling in an evil way as she says, "They only took a second."

Twilight has actually been a help for me in planning my own epic fantasy (by showing me what NOT to do) and also to serve as inspiration. (After all if Smeyer can get her load of crap published then so can I).
Anyway, I sometimes wonder what my main character would do if he somehow found himself in the Twilight zone (pun intended). In regards to Rosalie's past, he would probably listen for a while and then ask, "And did you get your revenge? Do you now have someplace you can belong? If so what reason do you have to whine?" He would then show her his left arm (which let's just say certainly wouldn't fit Bella's definition of "dazzling") and tell her, "I never asked for this either. But I live with it."
